David Wills

David Wills

Australian born David Wills is an independent curator, photographic preservationist and editor who has accrued one of the world's largest independent archives of original photographs, negatives and transparencies. He has contributed material to many publications and museums, including the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Wills has produced a series of photography exhibitions based on images from his archive. His shows include "Murder, Models, Madness: Photographs from the Motion Picture Blow-Up"; "Edie Sedgwick: Unseen Photographs of a Warhol Superstar"; "Blonde Bombshell"; "James Bond"; "Women With Issues: Photographs from the Motion Picture Valley of the Dolls"; and "Warhology," and they have received major profiles in the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, Vanity Fair, American Photo, and Vogue.

In 2002 Wills photo edited Bernard of Hollywood's Ultimate Pin-Up Book, in 2008 co-authored Veruschka, and in 2010 authored Ara Gallant featuring an introduction by Anjelica Huston. He has also written articles on photography and popular culture for publications including V Magazine and Palm Springs Life.

David lives in Los Angeles.

Stephen Schmidt

Stephen Schmidt, a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, is principal of the graphic design company Duuplex, which focuses on brand identity, Web and mobile UI design, and book design. Stephen has provided design and editorial contributions to numerous illustrated book projects. His design work includes the books Karim Rashid: Evolution; Florida Modern; Rome, the official companion book to the acclaimed HBO series; and Photo by Sammy Davis, Jr., which received a First Place Photography Book award from the New York Book Show.

Our Return Policy

Please inspect your order upon arrival and report any damages to us within 72 hours via email to contact@ultimatemarilynbook.com. You will be issued a Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). Please include the following information in your message:


  1. A brief description of the damage or reason for return;
  2. A digital photo of the item and of the shipping container it arrived in, if there is damage;
  3. Transaction I.D. number; and
  4. Requesting replacement or refund.

Returning Your Order

We must receive the return within 21 days of your receiving it.

  1. Send in original condition and in original packaging.
  2. Write the RMA # on the outside of the package.
  3. Obtain insurance for your shipment
  4. Shipping charges will not be refunded.

We reserve the right to refuse any package that is returned without an RMA#.


Refund/Replacement Policy
Please expect a replacement print(s) within two weeks of our receipt of your returned item(s).
Refunds will be processed within three weeks of receipt of your original order.
